Moreover, the first impression concluded by the top rated Indian bowling army. Jadhav celebrates the win and says he gives the credit to his captain and Dhoni. He says yesterday Dhoni on the other end motivated me to play with determination and play it long.

India vs Australia 1st ODI: The scorecard

India (240-4 Jadhav 81*, Zampa 2-49) beat Australia (236-7 Khawaja 50, Shami 2-44) by 6 wickets and 10 balls remaining.

Opting for batting first, Australia put 236 for 7 on the board. From the Indian side, Dhawan fell on his first ball then a well good partnership between opener Sharma and very own captain Kohli stabilize the team. But they both also leave the field at great desperation. From where the two-star batsmen caught up the journey and lead the team to win the very first ODI. Their journey at first was pressurized by the Australian bowlers since Aussies return in the game after cracking 4 wickets in nearly 24 overs. And the target was still very far for coming batsmen. But who knows it is the turn of MS Dhoni to assist the team win this time also for which he partnered with his IPL CSK-mate Kedar Jadhav. The all-rounder Jadhav scored 81* in 87 balls with 9 fours and 1 six. At last, Dhoni finished with his style gaining two consecutive 4s.

All the Best to the Indian team for the next battle. Watch India vs Australia our rival for this month at Vidarbha Stadium (VCA), Nagpur on 5th March. MS Dhoni is doing great and setting oneself up for coming World Cup. This was his 4th half century in 2019.
